Sparrow Spotlight

Sparrow Spotlight will welcome a different woman to the virtual stage each month. Conversations will focus on their passions, fears, careers and journey in to their own becoming. The format will be a conversational interview with questions from the remote audience shared either through this registration form or the chat feature on ZOOM. Tickets are free and all are welcome!

Glynnis Gracia Bio

Glynnis Gracia, CNM is a certified nurse midwife who provides full scope midwifery care at Southern Jamaica Plain Health Center and Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA, where she has been caring for women and their families for over 16 years. With a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in midwifery, a hallmark of Glynnis' practice is focusing on the interplay between mental and physical health and optimizing wellness in pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Glynnis recognizes that women hold their birth stories, pregnancy losses, and postpartum experiences in their hearts and bodies for the entirety of their lives and that these memories have a profound effect on their roles as mothers, partners, and as individuals. Glynnis's most recent focus is exploring the impact of birth trauma and improving the delivery of trauma informed care in the hospital setting.
